Tell Us About Problems Accessing Public Lands

As you may know, from time to time, people who use public lands cannot access those public lands. Sometimes gates will be locked by people who own land adjacent to or who have grazing leases on public land. Other times, private landowners—either intentionally or uninintentionally—may incorrectly tell you, either in person or via posted signs, that the land is privately owned.

Whatever the case, you end up being shut out of publicly-owned land.

We're putting together a list of reports of these incidents. We'll then be able to work with the Department of Game & Fish, the state land office, federal land agencies, and others to open up these areas—especially areas that have received multiple access problem reports.

You can help by telling us what problems you've experienced.

All you need to do is fill out the form below. The more detail you can provide, the easier it'll be to spot repeat offenders and fix the problem.
