Candidate Forum On Sportsmen's Issues

For New Mexico's First Congressional District Candidates:
Councilor Martin Heinrich and Sheriff Darren White

On Monday, August 25th, first Congressional district candidates Darren White and Martin Heinrich answered questions on issues that matter to sportsmen. If you weren't able to attend, you can check out video clips of the candidates' answers. We've broken down the forum into multiple videos so you can hear what the candidates had to say about each question. To view all the videos, go to www.youtube.com/NMwildlife.

Check out the candidates' answers to the questions: The forum offered candidates an opportunity to address New Mexico sportsmen and other citizens directly about their plans and beliefs on the issues that matter most to them. The Candidate Forum on Sportsman's Issues was non-partisan, and all candidates were invited to speak to the assembled sportsmen and citizens. The format consisted of a small number of pre-written questions asked to each candidate on a range of issues that affect the hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts of New Mexico.

The event was well-attended, and about 80 people turned out Monday night to hear what the candidates had to say on the issues.

See for yourself everything that the candidates had to say.
