Latino Conservation Summit

Join leaders in the Latino community for a night to discuss and tackle the conservation issues that matter to the community. In conjunction with Latino Conservation Week, the New Mexico Wildlife Federation will be hosting a panel to discuss the issues that matter to our diverse Latino community across New Mexico. The event will be held at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque.

Our very own Max Trujillo will be moderating the panel and audience members will have an opportunity to submit questions.

Our featured panelists include:

●     Arturo Archuleta – Program Manager for the New Mexico Land Grant Council;

●     Carmichael Dominguez – Santa Fe City Council Member and Board Member National Association Latino Elected Officials;

●     Esther Garcia – Former Mayor of Questa & Rio Grande del Norte advocate

●     Ray Trejo – Deming Public Schools educator and former NMWF board president;

●        Kent Salazar – board member with HECHO and National Wildlife Federation,

●        Erminio Martinez – veteran and livestock permittee working to protect wilderness;
