The New Mexico Wildlife Federation is excited to host our annual Heroes Day on September 10th! We’ll be at the  John Dunn Bridge Fishing Area, Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument, Just north of Taos (near Arroyo Hondo) on the Rio Grande.

On this weekend of national significance, we are going to be honoring and thanking all of our veterans, active military and first responders and their families by holding free fishing and fly tying clinics, having a casting contest, having a BBQ, and raffling off various prizes.

Just some of the prizes up for grabs include Lobo football tickets, t-shirts, gift certificates, and kids fly rods!

The time will be from 10-4pm, we hope you can join us!

John Dunn Bridge is located north of Taos and just south of Arroyo Hondo, NM off Highway 522. Just south of Arroyo Hondo about 10 miles north of Taos, take a left heading west on Lucero Road (County Road B-007), which takes you all the way to the Rio Grande and John Dunn.
